Anna is among those Filipinas who are blessed enough to get a job outside the country. She came to China to teach English last year. I met her in one of those Filipino gatherings and to cut the story short, we became friends.

Daniel is among those Germans who blindly accepted an engineering job in China. He became Marcus’ work mate and friend since they got here last year. Daniel is a regular in our flat. He frequently spends weekend afternoons and several dinners with us.

One day, Marcus and I got the idea that these two persons should meet and we made it happen. They met. That was days ago. Yesterday, we decided to meet as a group. The four of us had dinner and had late coffee together. To me it looks like Anne and Daniel are smitten by each other. Of course it’s too early to tell but I am thrilled that things seem to be working well between them. She’s a nice girl and he seems not bad as well. They would surely fit perfectly.
